IPAM

IP address management is a basic function often left to ad-hoc spreadsheets or dedicated 3rd party products that do not integrate directly with your provisioning systems.

SPCenter has a built in IP management system and GUI control that allows for easy reservation and management of IP resources. It also allows you to view your IP utilisation visually at a glance.

Our IPAM system is also VRF enabled and allows for the re-use of IP space in different contexts (usually used for RFC1912 IP’s in corporate solutions)

Bandwidth Metering

We capture 2 types of usage metrics..

Data consumption on with a daily granularity and bandwidth utilisation with a 5 minute granularity. We obtain this data from SNMP polling and via RADIUS accounting updates.

The RADIUS data consumption is also split into premium and out of band usage. This is for PPP accounts that re-negotiate to a lower speed after their AUP is breached. Usage at the lower rate is counted separately for accounting purposes.

Staff Credentials

Credentials for staff are managed from SPCenter which allows you to use SPCenter as an authorisation server for your networking devices with varying levels of rights.

Once integrated this means that revoking credentials within SPCenter revokes a users access to all networking hardware and systems.

Top-up’s

The system allows for account top ups on accounts that breach their AUP. This allows the account to either have its cap extended and it’s full speed restored, up until the new limit is reached.

Roaming

We allow for specific realms to be proxied off to other RADIUS servers to allow for roaming and open access solutions on your network.

All session and usage information is collected for auditing/billing to allow for inter ISP accounting and billing.

CGNAT

With the depletion of IPv4 space NAT is quickly becoming a requirement to save on resources.

Our CGNAT solution allows you to allocate and track resources and perform reverse lookup from public to private addresses without the need to keep connection logs or netfilter /ipfix data.

Inventory

There is a basic inventory framework that integrates with auto-provision systems which allows for authorisation and tracking of hardware assets. There is usually some small level of customisation that happens to integrate provisioning automating systems into this inventory before it becomes of real value

There are also POP management functions with GIS integration that facilitates subscriber location.

Analytics

Customised RADIUS logs can be exported via syslog to external systems such as Graylog for analytics.

The event data contains subscriber information such as GPS location, pop code, last mile provider and more.

Reporting

Use our built in and custom reports to meet your business and operational needs. This assists in following up on otherwised missed billing opportunities and assists in network maintenance.

SNMP

We can collect interface usage information from every port of any SNMP capable device and allocate usage to customers.

This data can also be useful for internal reporting and troubleshooting.

Customer front end

We provide a complete customer front end for customer access to their usage information. This is for regular customers or for resellers / parent entities.

Each customer can view the details and utilisation of their current orders with data going back up to 6 months through the customer portal.
